God has shown us a"New Community". He is perfecting our vision on how to create His kingdom on earth. The goal of this New Community is to be a Fellowship of believers whose focus and is to restore people to their rightful position in Christ and each other by being a loving, learning, praying, and growing community.

WHAT IS VISION 500?
Vision 500 includes a five year strategic plan to continue the process to realize, as well as being deliberate in obtaining the necessary resources to implement the vision of RCF.

The goal of the Vision 500 is to continue the process of developing a fellowship of believers committed to remaining in the center of God's will, by living out the model for a New Community found in Acts 2:42-47.

Vision 500 is about us impacting a minimum of 500 new families over the next five years, by bringing them into the kingdom of God, building them up into Christ like maturity, training them for their ministry gifts, sending them out to fulfill their life's mission, in order to glorify God.

THE VISION STATEMENT - VISION 500?
Vision 500 will be a LOVING Community of Believers (Koinonia)

• Vision 500 calls for us creating an atmosphere of excellence, fun, relaxation, high touch, high worship, and a relevant life changing message, where people are free to come, and leave feeling they have actually experienced the presence of God.
• Vision 500 includes creating an environment where the love of God is not only spoken about but actually experienced.
• Vision 500 calls for us accepting in love the downcast, the rejected, those coming out of prison, those that have blown it, the prostitute, the pimp, the drug addicted, the poor, the rich, people from differing nations, the blacks, the whites, the Latinos, the Asians. It is a place where heaven is replicated on earth.
• Vision 500 involves us providing excellent member care for people who are members of the community. The vision involves us being more deliberate in touching and meeting with our members to make sure they are connecting with other members within the community.
• Vision 500 involves us being deliberate in making every member a minister by mobilizing people to use their ministry gifts so the community can have the necessary ministries in place to meet the physical, social, and economical needs of the body.
• Vision 500 involves us having the necessary cell groups to provide an outlet for people to exercise their ministry gifts, as well as have maximum impact on the families God is sending by means of the harvest.

Vision 500 will be a LEARNING Community of Believers

• Vision 500 involves us providing classes necessary to ensure our members are growing in Christ.
• Vision 500 involves us partnering with an established school of ministry to ensure there is adequate training for people in ministry.
• Vision 500 includes us providing more seminars, retreats, and conferences, to ensure the body is being exposed to the word of God.
• Vision 500 involves us meeting the holistic needs of the community by providing opportunities for residents in the community to complete their GED, and have opportunities for them to a achieve higher education.

Vision 500 will be a PRAYING Community of Believers

• Vision 500 involves us being deliberate in praying in our homes by means of our small groups.
• Vision 500 involves us being excellent in our worship, by creating an atmosphere of freedom to worship God.
• Vision 500 includes us creating an atmosphere birthed out of prayer before and during every worship service. Where the body is devoted to prayer, committed to seeking God on a constant basis for guidance and direction.

Vision 500 will be a GROWING Community of Believers

• Vision 500 Calls for us executing a five year plan to minister effectively up to a five mile radius of our present location, covering one mile a year. It includes us having maximum impact on our present community with more bridge events, meeting the needs of more families, and sharing the love of Jesus with them.
• Vision 500 calls for us rebuilding our community one brick at a time by focusing on the restoration of family units; providing positive alternatives to the problems of our society; and meeting the social, physical, educational, vocational, and economic needs of the community in helping individuals become self-sufficient.
• Vision 500 also involves us establishing a presence in the community with a deliberate marketing strategy, exposing the community to what God is doing by means of radio, television, and written media.
• Vision 500 includes us impacting the lives of Youth and Young Adults by starting a Saturday Night Hip Hop service once a month. The goal of this service is to reach the young people of our inner cities in their context, allowing them opportunities to express themselves in their own genre without the influence of the church.
• Vision 500 includes us having a youth center where children and youth can come and dance, play games, relax, watch movies and experience God their own way.
• Vision 500 includes us starting a capital stewardship campaign to raise the finances necessary to place the ministry in a debt free posture, pay staff, purchase property, and begin the process of providing a permanent location to facilitate this community that God is calling for.
• God is creating a community of believers, a new community that will live out the word of God, and be an example to the social service and governmental agencies of our society. God is calling for a new community.
